Product Sensitivity Test
$50

A product sensitivity test, a patch test, determines if a patient is sensitive or develops a rash, like an allergy to a particular product or ingredient used during treatment. Patch tests must be completed two weeks before the procedure. During a patch test, a small amount of the product or ingredient is applied discretely to a small area of the skin, usually on the inner forearm or behind the ear. We will use a skin marker, take a photo of the test area, and monitor the site for reactions. Sensitive responses may or may not be noted immediately; therefore, a two-week (14-day) waiting period optimizes the evaluation to assess for any delayed reactions. However, the two-week waiting period does not guarantee delayed reactions. Allergic reactions can be unpredictable and may occur even in patients who have previously undergone the same treatment without issue. The area will be examined daily by the patient while at home. Therefore, it is essential for patients to inform their provider of any previous allergic reactions or sensitivities they may have experienced and to monitor their skin closely following any treatment. The patient will report any signs of a response, such as bumps, redness, itching, or swelling.

COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY
45 minutes
$400

Collagen induction therapy (CIT), also known as microneedling or microchanneling, involves using a device with tiny needles to create small punctures in the skin. This treatment stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which can improve the skin's texture, tone, and firmness. CIT can also help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, and other forms of scarring. The benefits of CIT are numerous and include: Improved skin texture and tone: CIT can help to improve the texture and tone of the skin by stimulating collagen production, which can improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars. Reduced pore size: CIT can help to reduce the size of pores by stimulating collagen production and improving the elasticity of the skin. Increased skin firmness: CIT can help to increase skin firmness by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin fibers, which are responsible for maintaining the skin's structure and firmness. Improved skin hydration: CIT can improve the skin's ability to retain moisture by stimulating the production of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in the skin that helps to maintain hydration. Improved absorption of skincare products: CIT can improve the absorption of skincare products by creating tiny channels in the skin that allow for better penetration of active ingredients. Reduced hyperpigmentation: CIT can help to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, such as age spots and sun damage, by promoting the growth of new skin cells. Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) can also be beneficial for hair loss. The micro-needling process can stimulate blood flow and the production of collagen and other growth factors, which can in turn promote hair growth. The micro-needling process creates tiny punctures in the scalp, which can help to increase the absorption and effectiveness of topical hair growth products. In addition, the use of LED red light therapy during CIT treatments can further enhance hair growth by improving scalp circulation and increasing the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is essential for healthy hair growth. It is important to note that CIT for hair loss may require a series of treatments over time for optimal results. Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) can be beneficial for hair loss because it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin in the skin, which can lead to increased blood flow and nutrient delivery to the hair follicles. This increased blood flow and nutrient delivery can improve the health of the hair follicles and promote hair growth. Additionally, CIT can help reduce inflammation and scarring around the hair follicles, which can also contribute to hair loss. CIT can be used in conjunction with other hair loss treatments, such as topical medications or hair transplant surgery, to enhance their effectiveness. However, it's important to note that CIT alone may not be sufficient to treat severe or advanced cases of hair loss. Overall, CIT is a versatile treatment that can provide numerous benefits for the scalp and skin. By stimulating collagen production and promoting the body's natural healing response, CIT can help to improve the texture, tone, and overall appearance of the skin, while also reducing the signs of aging and improving the skin's ability to retain moisture and absorb skincare products. The overall conclusion on hair loss is that there are several factors that can contribute to it, including genetics, age, hormonal changes, medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle factors. Hair loss can have a significant impact on an individual's self-esteem and quality of life. While there are various treatments available for hair loss, including medication, surgery, and hair restoration procedures, their efficacy and suitability can vary depending on the underlying cause of hair loss. Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) is one emerging option for hair loss treatment that can help stimulate hair growth by increasing blood flow and nutrient delivery to the hair follicles. However, more research is needed to determine its effectiveness and long-term benefits. It's important for individuals experiencing hair loss to consult with a qualified healthcare professional or hair loss specialist to determine the underlying cause and appropriate treatment options. PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Therapy: PRP therapy is a non-surgical treatment that involves injecting your own plasma, which contains growth factors, into your scalp to stimulate hair growth. This treatment has been shown to be effective for both male and female pattern baldness, as well as other types of hair loss. Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT): LLLT is a non-invasive treatment that uses red or near-infrared light to stimulate hair growth. This therapy can be used alone or in combination with other treatments for hair loss. Microneedling with Growth Factors: Microneedling involves creating tiny micro-channels in your scalp using a dermaroller or other device. When combined with the application of growth factors, such as PRP, this treatment can stimulate hair growth. Scalp Micropigmentation: Scalp micropigmentation is a cosmetic tattooing technique that involves creating the appearance of hair follicles on your scalp using small dots of pigment. This treatment can be used to create the illusion of a full head of hair, or to camouflage areas of thinning or baldness. Hair Transplant Surgery: Hair transplant surgery involves removing healthy hair follicles from one area of your scalp and transplanting them to another area that is thinning or balding. This is a surgical procedure that is typically performed by a board-certified surgeon. Remember many treatments, including those for hair loss, are typically part of a larger process. While some treatments may show some immediate results, such as improvements in skin texture or hydration, others may require multiple sessions before noticeable changes are seen. This is particularly true for treatments that aim to address hair loss, as hair growth is a slow process and may take several months before visible improvements are seen. Therefore, it's important to have realistic expectations and understand that one treatment alone may not show significant changes. Consistency and commitment to a treatment plan are key in achieving desired results. It is important to consult with one of our licensed and experienced aesthetic professionals to determine the best treatment plan for your specific hair loss concerns. Your provider can work with you to create a personalized treatment plan that takes into account your individual needs and goals, and can advise you on the expected timeline for seeing results.

Dermaplaning removes dead skin cells from the skin's surface, revealing a smoother, brighter complexion. This procedure can help to improve the texture and tone of the skin by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the face and neck/décolleté area. Removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells helps stimulate collagen production and promote skin cell renewal, leading to a more youthful-looking complexion. Dermaplaning improves the absorption of skincare products by removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells, which can sometimes act as a barrier that can enhance your skincare products' effectiveness, leading to better results. Additionally, dermaplaning may reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, such as sunspots or age spots, by removing the outermost layer of skin where these pigments appear. This treatment may improve the appearance of acne scars by smoothing out the skin and promoting collagen production. However, it is important to note that dermaplaning should not be done on active acne. Overall, dermaplaning can provide several benefits for the skin on the face, neck, and décolleté area. It can help to improve the texture and tone of the skin, smooth fine lines, and wrinkles, enhance product absorption, reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, and improve the appearance of acne scars.

Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation that involves using a surgical blade to gently remove dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the surface of the skin. This can help to improve the texture and tone of the skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and enhance the absorption of skincare products. One of the critical benefits of dermaplaning when it comes to applying makeup is that it can create a smooth, even canvas for makeup application. By removing dead skin cells and other debris from the skin's surface, dermaplaning can help create a smooth, uniform texture that makes it easier to apply makeup evenly and achieve a flawless finish. Overall, dermaplaning can be an excellent option for those who want to achieve a smooth, even complexion that is ideal for makeup application. By removing dead skin cells and debris, improving the absorption of skincare products, and promoting a healthy, well-hydrated complexion, dermaplaning can help you achieve flawless, glowing skin that is the perfect canvas for your favorite makeup looks.

CIT can also help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, and other forms of scarring. Here are some of the added benefits of red light therapy for the skin and micropigmentation: Improved healing: RLT can help to improve the healing process by increasing blood flow to the treated area and promoting the growth of new skin cells. Reduced inflammation: RLT has anti-inflammatory properties that can help to reduce inflammation and swelling in the treated area. Increased collagen production: RLT can help to increase collagen production, which can improve skin texture and tone, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and enhance the results of micropigmentation. Improved skin elasticity: RLT can help to improve skin elasticity by promoting the production of elastin fibers, which are responsible for maintaining the skin's structure and elasticity. Enhanced absorption of skincare products: RLT can improve the absorption of skincare products by creating tiny channels in the skin that allow for better penetration of active ingredients. Reduced scarring: RLT can help to reduce scarring by promoting the growth of new skin cells and improving the overall healing process. Overall, the combination of red light therapy and microneedling or micropigmentation can provide numerous benefits for the skin, including improved healing, reduced inflammation, increased collagen production, improved skin elasticity, enhanced absorption of skincare products, and reduced scarring.

Micropigmentation is a cosmetic procedure that involves the use of a specialized tattooing technique to implant pigment into the skin to mimic the appearance of makeup, hair, or other features. This technique is often referred to as permanent makeup or cosmetic tattooing, a cosmetic procedure that involves implanting pigment into the skin to create the illusion of makeup or to enhance certain features. This procedure can also be beneficial for transgender individuals who wish to enhance their physical appearance to match their gender identity. For example, micropigmentation can be used to create the appearance of fuller eyebrows, define the lip line, or create the illusion of a five o'clock shadow for female-to-male individuals undergoing hormone therapy. Micropigmentation can also be used to conceal scars or other blemishes that may be causing dysphoria. There are several types of micropigmentation procedures, including: Eyebrow micropigmentation: This procedure involves adding pigment to the eyebrows to create a fuller, more defined look. It is especially beneficial for people with sparse or uneven brows. Eyebrow micropigmentation can be a great option for individuals experiencing hair loss due to various conditions such as alopecia, hair loss from cancer treatments, trichotillomania, or over plucking. Eyeliner micropigmentation: This involves adding pigment to the lash line to create the illusion of fuller, darker lashes. It can also be used to create a winged eyeliner look. An eyeliner tattoo can create the illusion of fuller lashes because the pigment is placed in between the lashes, making them appear darker and more defined. This can give the appearance of thicker and fuller lashes without the need for mascara or other lash-enhancing products. Additionally, since the pigment is semi-permanent, the effect can last for several years with proper care, providing a long-term solution for those looking to enhance their lash line. Lip micropigmentation: This procedure involves adding pigment to the lips to enhance their color and shape. It can be used to create a natural-looking lip tint or a more defined lip line. Additionally, the lip tattoo can help to camouflage any scarring from the surgery, creating a more seamless appearance. Scalp micropigmentation: This is a procedure that involves adding pigment to the scalp to create the illusion of thicker hair. It can be used to cover bald spots, add density to thinning hair, and create the look of a buzz cut. Areola micropigmentation: This procedure is often used to restore the appearance of the areola after breast reconstruction surgery. It involves adding pigment to the skin to create the illusion of a natural-looking areola. 3D areola micropigmentation can be particularly beneficial for transgender individuals who have undergone top surgery as part of their gender transition. This procedure involves using micropigmentation techniques to create the appearance of a three-dimensional areola and nipple on the chest. This can help individuals feel more comfortable with their physical appearance and can contribute to their overall sense of gender affirmation. Scar camouflaging micropigmentation: This is a procedure that involves adding pigment to scars to help them blend in with the surrounding skin. It can be used to camouflage scars from injuries, surgeries, or burns. Scars can sometimes cause people to feel self-conscious or embarrassed. Scar camouflage can help to boost confidence by making the scar less visible. People who are anxious about the appearance of their scars may feel a sense of relief and a reduction in anxiety after undergoing scar camouflage. For people who have suffered from traumatic injuries or illnesses, scar camouflage can help to restore a sense of normalcy by making the skin appear more similar to its pre-injury or pre-illness state. Scar camouflage is a non-surgical option for scar reduction, which can be an appealing alternative to surgery for some people. Belly button micropigmentation: This is a cosmetic procedure that involves using micropigmentation techniques to create or enhance the appearance of a belly button. This procedure is typically performed on individuals who have undergone abdominal surgery, such as a tummy tuck or C-section, and may have scarring or other irregularities around the belly button area. Belly button micropigmentation can be a great option for individuals who are self-conscious about scarring or other irregularities in the abdominal area, or who simply want to enhance the appearance of their belly button. Safe and effective: Micropigmentation is a safe and effective cosmetic procedure when performed by a trained and experienced professional. Low maintenance: After the initial healing period, the eyebrow micropigmentation requires minimal maintenance, and individuals can enjoy the benefits of having full, natural-looking eyebrows with minimal effort. It's important to note that micropigmentation is a cosmetic procedure and should not be used as a substitute for medical treatment for conditions such as hair loss or skin discoloration.

A lip tattoo, also known as lip blush, can enhance the appearance of the lips by adding color and definition. It can make the lips look fuller and more plump, giving the appearance of a youthful pout. The pigment used in the tattoo can be customized to match the patient's natural lip color or desired shade. For patients with a cleft lip or palate repair, a lip tattoo can be particularly beneficial. The surgery to repair a cleft lip or palate can leave the lips looking uneven or asymmetrical. A lip tattoo can help to create the appearance of balance and symmetry in the lips, helping to boost the patient's confidence and self-esteem. Freckle micropigmentation: Is a procedure also known as cosmetic freckle tattooing or faux freckles, involves tattooing small dots on the face to mimic the look of natural freckles. The benefits of micropigmentation include: Saves time: Micropigmentation can save time in the daily makeup routine, as it eliminates the need for applying and removing makeup every day. People who have lost their eyebrows may spend a lot of time filling them in with makeup. Micropigmentation can save time and effort in the daily routine of eyebrow makeup. Enhances appearance: Micropigmentation can enhance the appearance of facial features, such as eyebrows and lips, by creating a more defined and symmetrical look. Restores confidence: For individuals who have experienced hair loss, scalp micropigmentation can help to restore confidence by creating the appearance of a full head of hair. Eyebrows are an important aspect of one's facial appearance, and the loss of eyebrows due to any reason can lead to a loss of self-confidence. Micropigmentation can provide a natural-looking solution and restore confidence in individuals. Long-lasting results: Micropigmentation is a long-lasting solution, with results that can last for several years, depending on the procedure and individual factors. Safe and effective: Micropigmentation is a safe and effective cosmetic procedure when performed by a trained and experienced professional. Long-lasting: Unlike traditional makeup, eyebrow micropigmentation is a long-lasting solution that can last for up to several years, making it a cost-effective solution in the long run. Customizable: The procedure can be customized to suit an individual's face shape, skin tone, and desired eyebrow style, ensuring natural-looking results.
